Another Italian candy that is throat soothing and refreshing are the pastilles called Chips. The Licorice Chips have been around for over six decades and are made with pure licorice extract and enhanced with a touch of natural menthol.
Ingredients
Active ingredient: Menthol 1.25mg per pastille. Also contains: Sugar (from beets), corn syrup, modified food starch (from corn and potatoes), gum arabic, sorbitol (a trivial amount to retain moisture only and not as a sugar substitute), licorice and other natural flavors, colored with caramel color.
